It’s true, there are A LOT of decisions to make. Maybe less than a Big Wedding. But still a lot.

Assistance with the legal stuff— Permits and marriage licenses
Permitting for different land management bureaus can be a very convoluted game. National Parks differ from National Forests, and State Parks have more regulations than County Parks, and yada yada yada. I will help you wrangle the Permit Monster if needed… I have tamed the beast before. On top of that, marriage requirements can vary wildly from state to state. If needed, I’ll help you navigate this as well, so that you exit your elopement legally hitched.
Gear Lists and Recommendations
When, where, and how you’re eloping will require different gear and clothing depending on: time of year, altitude, time of day, climate, etc. I’ve got the expertise to guide you through the isles of REI.
Sneaky Peekies
Within 48 hours you’ll receive 20-ish photos to share with the world (if you so desire). No need to whip out the iPhone during your elopement. I’ve got you covered so you can stay fully present and unplugged.

This package is for couples who know they want something epic, but may want to keep hiking to a minimum. We’ll visit a gorgeous ceremony site, and possibly a second location, depending on the adventure.
Coverage: 4 hours
This package is very versatile and can be arranged to fit most couples’ needs. It’s great if you want some “getting ready” photos, a good hike (or paddle, off-road excursion or whatever) and multiple locations. It can also be split into chunks, if you’re hoping to catch sunrise, sunset and a siesta. (I truly believe that napping outdoors is one of life’s most underrated pleasures).
Coverage: 8 hours.
This package is great for couples who want an overnight involved in their celebration. For backpacking, backcountry badasses, or campfire cooking masters. It is also great for couples who want a day for “Just the Two of Us,” and another to incorporate a celebration with their important people.

"Laidback, kind-hearted, relaxing, artful, discerning, communicative, and SO TALENTED. I couldn't possibly recommend Ginger/Tule Walks more! My partner and I didn't expect to have so much fun or be so put-at-ease during our rainy waterfall engagement photo shoot, but you can tell in the (absolutely gorgeous and gallery frame-able!) photos she created that we *definitely* are. Ginger has a magical way of letting you be you - without over-directing or making you feel like you have to focus on looking "perfect" - and still capturing the absolute best moment. Sometimes she would pop in and point out a enchanting little moss or a view in the distance for us to enjoy, but for the most part it just felt so natural to be with one another and wholly in love, with her camera nearby. We make a zoom call date to chat everything elopements. Do you know exactly what you want? Or do you have a notebook full of scribbles and a million different ideas? Either way, I’ll come prepared with ideas and advice. And I'll probably admire your houseplants...
Step #2 - Let’s Connect
F**k Yeah! When you decide you want to work with me, I’ll send a contract and an invoice so I can hold your date. Then look for a questionnaire from me so I can get to know you a little better.
Step #3 - Make it Official
The planning starts here! Diving headfirst into your dreams, desires, hopes, wants, needs, etc. so we can build your perfect day. All the location research, permit-acquiring, Google Earth-ing and timeline assembling happens here. Plus I will be available for you if you have any questions at all. I’ll send along a private Calendly link for you to book a call with me at any time during this process.
Step #4 - The Fun Begins
You elope! The best day ever. Full of adventure, laughter, connection, awesome nature, amazing views, and all the things you would never get if you chose the community center downtown… (no hate, but that’s just not you).

Can I bring Guests?
Yes! Absolutely. I can accommodate a guest list of up to about 30 people. Bear in mind that bigger parties tend to limit our options for locations as well as increase logistical trouble. But, there are plenty of beautiful landscapes that'll meet your needs. I'll make sure everyone has a good time.
Yup! These locations are my bread and butter (Mmmm...), and I know them like the back of my hand.

How far in advance should we book?
Typically, a few months is enough time to plan the perfect adventure. It really depends on what's right for you. I tend to fill spots on my calendar anywhere from 6 months to a year in advance. But if you're hoping to plan something quicker than that, reach out anyway! I could be free on your date! And spontaneity makes for excellent adventures (and great stories).
What if we don't know where we want to go?
Don't worry! I've got ideas and recommendations for you. Based on several factors— your vibe, the time of year you're thinking, etc.— we'll come up with some amazing options. If all you know is "We want a
Frequently Asked Questions
The number of photographs you receive depends on how long the elopement is, and what we’re doing. A good estimate is roughly 50-75 photos per hour covered. But there are some situations that yield fewer photos, like driving to the next location, or longer hikes.
I'll get you your full gallery in 4-6 weeks, but since you probably can't wait that long, I'll also send a sneak peek gallery of around 20 images within 48 hours.
How many images do you deliver? When will we get them?
Do you do engagment sessions?
Yes! I do. I do not travel terribly far for them, though. I am based in Oregon, but I travel to Southern Washington and Northern California frequently enough that I could make a session happen in and around those spots.
I love hiking! But that’s not all we can do. “Adventure” is in the eye of the experiencer. We can kayak, paddleboard, ride horses, rent off-roading vehicles, or whatever feels exciting to you… Or if your vibe is more mellow, a seaside picnic, a leisurely breakfast in a beautiful A-frame, or cooking a delicious dinner over a campfire. Basically, it’s your elopement, so you should do whatever you want.
Do you reschedule for "bad" Weather?
Not really… depending on my calendar. Part of the experience of a place is the weather. And in the Pacific Northwest, the weather is often unpredictable. With a combination of back up plans, flexibility and good gear, we will create a beautiful day. Rescheduling to the next day may cut into time I’ve allotted for travel to another destination, and is therefore often not possible. BUT! Like I said, we will have contingency plans galore, so fear not the unpredictability and fickleness of the weather gods.
Our location isn't on your list. Can we still book you?
ABSOLUTELY! As an ex-outdoor recreation guide, learning new landscapes and spaces is an expertise of mine. And I'll dedicate my time to google-earthing and scouting your spot until I know it like my favorite T. Swift song.

Once we're best friends, we'll set a date, and I'll send over a contract and invoice. That's it!
